Mount Rock Dairy, owned by Alan Waybright since 2019, has grown significantly under his leadership, expanding from 650 cows to 940, with plans to reach 1,050 by 2025. White Horse Construction’s contributions were pivotal in this growth, particularly in the design and installation of the sorting lanes that utilize RFID technology to automate cow management. These additions, along with the state-of-the-art rotary parlor installed by DeLaval and other innovations, have optimized both the milking process and herd health, ensuring high productivity and efficient operations.

The dairy integrates advanced technologies such as the DeLaval Rotary E500 with real-time data monitoring and the TSR2 automated teat spray robot. Additionally, manure management is handled by a dual drum separator system installed by Penn Jersey/Dairy Tech. Alongside White Horse Construction, vendors like Scotch Hill Solutions and Mid-Atlantic Farm Credit provided the necessary resources and expertise, making Mount Rock Dairy a leading example of modern dairy farming innovation.
